Global IME Goes Branchless at Chandani 

Global IME Bank has launched Branchless Banking Service in Chandani VDC, Kanchanpur. Local entrepreneur Saraswoti Kumari Bista Pandey has been appointed as a representative of the bank. 

 

Citizens USD Debit Card Service 

Citizens Bank International has launched the ´Dollar Debit Card Service´ for the benefit of those travelling abroad. The bank stated that customers having dollar savings or current account are eligible for the service. The bank has been providing two percent interest on US Dollar savings accounts. A total of 21,018,400 shares of Citizen Bank are to be dematerialized as per an agreement signed with CDSCL on Thursday (June 27). 

 

Om Finance Mobile Banking 

Om Finance has started mobile banking for its customers. With this, the customers of the bank can send or receive money, make payment of bills, recharge balance on mobile phone, make payment of shopping bills and book tickets online. 

 

New Share Certificate to BoAN Shareholders 

Newly merged NIC Asia Bank is distributing new share certificates to shareholders of the earlier Bank of Asia Nepal (BoAN). Shareholders are getting shares in the ratio of 2:1 i.e. a shareholder holding two shares of BoAN will get one new share certificate of NIC Asia Bank Ltd. The new certificates have been distributed since July 2 from Civil Capital Market Ltd. 

 

 

BoK at Bir Hospital 

Bank of Kathmandu (BoK) Ltd. has commenced its extension counter service at NAMS (National Academy of Medical Sciences) Bir Hospital from June 30. The counter was inaugurated amidst a function by director of the hospital Prof Dr Buland Thapa.
