As the federal budget draws nearer, automobile dealers are gearing up to introduce more EV brands in the country. Vainjya Vikash Pvt Ltd, under MAW Enterprises, is set to launch the Leapmotor T03 car in the Nepali market soon. The Leapmotor T03, a mini hatchback, is tailor-made for navigating narrow streets while boasting significant safety features despite its compact size. Expected to be priced between Rs 2.499 million and Rs 2.799 million, the Leapmotor T03 will be available in two variants of 55 kW and 80 kW motor.

The Leapmotor T03 is a compact mini hatchback, built on the Leapmotor BEV Platform, specifically tailored for city commutes and manoeuvrability on narrow streets. It features eye-shaped LED headlamps with DRLs and LED indicators which give the car a distinctive appearance. Notably, the grille slot, integrated with the headlamp housing, contributes to its friendly face aesthetics.

The bonnet area is characterised by its small size and minimalistic design, accentuated by a few converging creases. Additionally, the charging port is centrally located, with the Leapmotor branding positioned just above it. Additionally, Diamond-Shaped grilles adorn the bottom section which add a touch of elegance to its overall appearance. The hatchback boasts glossy ceramic with soft synthetic leather panels, enhancing its interior ambiance.

The Wuling Bingo EV is powered by a 50kW PMSM Electric Motor which delivers a maximum power output of 67PS and a peak torque of 150 Nm, enabling it to achieve a top speed of 100 km/h. The car is equipped with a 31.9 kWh Lithium Ferro-Phosphate Battery which delivers an impressive range of 333 kilometres on a single charge, according to the company.
