The Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO) Nepal chapter has recently entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with JITO Hyderabad, JITO Visakhapatnam, and JITO Coimbatore. This significant MOU signing occurred at an official event held on April 30th in Kathmandu. The chairpersons of the visiting Indian JITO chapters were accompanied by their respective boards of directors during the MOU signing ceremony at Hotel Hyatt Regency. JITO represents a unique community of visionary Jain industrialists, businessmen, and professionals committed to shaping the future of their community and society. Its vision encompasses becoming a world-class organization, fostering economic prosperity, caring for the underprivileged, and contributing to a violence-free, poverty-free, and disease-free world.
Begani emphasized that the MOU symbolizes a strategic partnership and collaboration between the Nepal chapter and the three Indian chapters. He expressed, "Together, we aim to leverage business opportunities and drive mutual development. This collaboration is not only significant for the Nepali Jain community, but it also holds the potential to positively impact Nepal's economy, fostering growth and prosperity through shared endeavors." Sancheti highlighted the importance of this partnership, stating, "The MOU marks a crucial alliance between the Hyderabad chapter and Nepal, geared towards expanding business opportunities and fostering mutual development." Dhariwal noted Nepal's vast investment potential and urged Jain industrialists from Visakhapatnam to explore investment opportunities in Nepal. He added, "This MOU transcends geographical borders, fostering cross-border business and social activities." Similarly, Rakesh Mehta stressed the collaborative aspect of the MOU, emphasizing its role in seizing business opportunities and promoting mutual development between his chapter and Nepal. In parallel, nineteen JITO members from all four chapters are embarking on a 12-day trek to Everest Base Camp, organized by the youth wing of JITO Nepal in collaboration with Thamserku. The journey is scheduled to conclude on May 12th.
