Once you reach 29 weeks, a medical certificate is necessary to confirm your fitness to fly. You can get a medical certificate from your local doctor claiming that you are the specified weeks pregnant and it is safe and healthy for you to fly at this time.
The required medical certificate should be signed by your doctor or attending midwife, or attending next of kin on a registered clinic or hospital letterhead. It should be issued within seven days of the travel date, clearly stating whether it is a single or multiple pregnancy, the number of weeks, the expected delivery date, and fitness to fly, and should be easily understood in English or Nepali. You will be asked to show the original certificate and submit a copy of the certificate to the counter while purchasing your ticket. While, if you are beyond 37 weeks pregnant for single pregnancies, or beyond 33 weeks pregnant for multiple pregnancies, you are not allowed to fly for your own safety reasons.
