What makes your hospital stand out in the country?
First, we cover the entire western part of Nepal addressing healthcare needs across a diverse geographic region. Our strategic location near the Indian border allows us to offer specialised facilities to our neighbours. This not only enhances the reach of our services but also strengthens regional healthcare partnerships.
What are the latest medical and treatment and diagnostic technologies that you have introduced in recent times?
We take pride in staying at the forefront of medical advancements by introducing cutting-edge technologies. Some of the latest medical, treatment, and diagnostic technologies that we have incorporated include 3 Tesla MRI, Laser for Endovascular, anorectal and urorectal and urosurgery, CBCT, USG guided FAST for Emergency and Critical Care patients, and Immunohistopathology.
What are your long-term and short-term plans for the future?
We plan to introduce subspecialities in academic programs like DM and MCh degrees in various specialities. We also plan to start renal transplantation, ERCP, an oncology unit, and a pain clinic.
Can you disclose the size of investment in your hospital?
We have invested around Rs 4 billion. This investment encompasses various aspects, including acquiring a land area of 25 bighas and building a robust infrastructure.
What are your expectations from the government?
The government also needs to create a supportive regulatory environment and promote initiatives that enhance the overall quality and accessibility of healthcare services in the country. Our expectations from the government include implementing simplified documentation processes for healthcare facility registration and the purchase of medical equipment from abroad.
