Himalayan Bank Limited (HBL), that offers globally acclaimed card brands including American Express, JCB, Mastercard, UnionPay, and Visa, is honoured with the "Excellence in POS Acquiring Business 2023" and "Excellence in Consumer Cards-Prepaid 2023".

In a ceremony organized by the VISA in Kathmandu, Bam Bahadur Mishra, Deputy Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, and Basu Soumya, Country Manager of VISA for Nepal, handed the awards to the bank.

HBL's diverse card acceptance portfolio, including popular brands like Diners/Discover and Rupay, facilitates seamless payments for both national and international customers through various ATMs, POS terminals, and the Bank's E-Commerce Gateway, claims the bank. 

HBL has been serving card users nationwide through 270 ATMs, over 6500 POS terminals, and nearly 800 E-Commerce Merchants.
