How was the feedback from participants? Can you share one feedback highlighting the success and uniqueness of the race?
We have received overwhelmingly positive feedback from participants. Many praised the unique blend of challenging trails that constitute the Trail of the Gods and commended the seamless management of the event. Most participants were captivated by the majestic beauty of Dolakha district.
One standout testimonial came from the world-renowned mass start champion Kilian Bron, recognised for his triumphs in mass start races like the Megavalanche and Mountain of Hell. He has said that the race stood out as the physically most difficult and mentally challenging race in the world. Participants highlighted how the race not only provided a thrilling sporting experience but also an unforgettable journey that exceeded their expectations. These testimonials, coupled with Kilian Bron’s endorsement, serve as a testament to the race’s success and its distinctive appeal.
What message or inspiration do you think participants take away from their experience from the race, both in terms of personal achievement and the broader impact on the region?
We aim for participants to leave the race venue with a profound sense of personal achievement and a deep connection to it. We envision them as ambassadors, sharing transformative experiences both locally and globally. We want all participants to carry not just memories of their accomplishments but also a sense of responsibility for the sustainable development and promotion of this sport in the wonderful vicinity of the Dolakha district, in particular, and Nepal in general.
