NEW APPOINTMENTS
Dr Bhagwan Koirala has joined HAMS Hospital. Earlier also Dr Koirala was with HAMS as a Chief Advisor. But he had left the hospital after he became President of Nepal Medical Council (NMC). He rejoined HAMS after he completed the four years tenure with NMC.
Subhas Sapkota has been appointed the CEO of Yeti Airlines. A Chartered Accountant Sapkota was ealrier a Director in F1Soft Group and CEO of eSewa. He replaces Anoj Rimal who was CEO of Yeti Airlines for last three years.
Anjani Phuyal of Genese Solution has been promoted as Chief Executive Officer from Chief Technology Officer.
Kanchan Prakash Pandey has taken the position of Manging Director in 36 MW Lower Likhu Hydropower Project.
Toyaraj Adhikari has been appointed the CEO of Guhyeshwari Merchant Banking & Finance Ltd. He replaces Rajesh Kumar Shrestha who resigned from CEO.
Shiva Prasad Gyawali has been appointed CEO of Aarambha Chautari Laghubitta for four year term. Earlier he was Acting CEO.
Chartered Accountant Suresh Devkota has been appointed as the CEO of Nabil Securities Ltd, a subsidiary of Nabil Bank, for a four year term. Earlier he was Chief Investment officer of Nabil Bank.
Suman Pokharel has been appointed as the DCEO of Global IME Bank Ltd. Earlier, he was Senior Vice President of IME Group Nepal. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Studies from TU. He has 20 plus years of banking experience in Everest Bank and Global IME Bank with a strong forte in banking operations, credit, international remittance, and correspondence banking.
Roshan Koirala has been appointed as the Deputy Director General of Confederation of Banks and Financial Institutions Nepal (CBFIN). Earlier, he was Chief Province Officer at Nabil Bank Limited.

Kabindra Shrestha and Samjhana Shrestha, both Sr. Relationship Managers of Nabil Bank Limited have got the retirement from the bank.
Bandana Gurung Director of Sales and Marketing of Tranquility Spa has left the company.
Avis Acharya has joined F1Soft as Group Chief Finance Officer after Sechan Devkota resigned from the position. Earlier, Acharya was Head of Strategic Finance at Laxmi Sunrise Bank Ltd.
Sunny Maharjan has joined Myanmar Citizens Bank, MCB, Yangon as Head of Operations.
Nirdesh Singh Karki has joined Aura Engineers Pvt. Ltd as Civil Engineer. He completed Civil Engineering at Nepal Engineering College.
ELECTED IN PUBLIC LIMITED COMPSNIES
Prabal Jung Pandey has been elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Citizens Bank International. The new Board consists of Sita Karki, Sajan Sharma, Digvijay Bista, Prakash Chandra Mainali, Bijay Dhoj Karki and Independent Director Anil Gyawali.
Justice Sapana Pradhan Malla has been elected as the Chair of the Judges’ Society, Nepal. She is elected to the position after justice Ishwar Prasad Khatiwada resigned as he became a member of the Judicial Council. Justice Til Prasad Shrestha has been elected as the Vice Chair while Tek Narayan Kunwar, Shishir Raj Dhakal and Balendra Rupakheti have been elected General Secretary, Secretary and Treasurer respectively. Similarly, Tej Narayan Singh Rai, Rajeshwor Tiwari, Shekhar Prasad Paudel and Durga Khadka are members of the Executive Committee.
Mahesh Prasad Pradhan has been elected Chairman of the Association of Pharmaceutical Producers of Nepal (APPON). He was earlier the Senior Vice President. Prajwal Jung Pandey is now the Immediate Past president. Sumit Chandra Shrestha, Pankaj Kumar Tiwari, Prithvi Rajbhandari, Saantosh Baral, Shailesh Vaidya, Sudarshan Khayaguli and Sajan Raj Regmi are elected members of the Executive Committee.
Mukunda Prasad Timalsina has been elected the Chairman of Nepal Finland Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Former president of Nepal Chamber of Commerce Rajesh Kazi Shrestha has been elected the Patron of the Chamber while Prajwal Jung pandey, Sunil KC and Shakti Kumar Begani have been elected the Vice presidents. Similarly, Bishwesh Shrestha is elect the General Secretary and Deependra Signdel as the Treasurer while Sitaram Thapa and Urusha Chapagain are the Secretaries.
GOVERNMENT MOVEMENTS
Prajwal Jung Pandey has been appointed Honorary Consul of Rwanda in Nepal. Pandey is Immediate Past President of Association of Pharmaceutical Producers of Nepal (APPON).
Dr. Madan Upadhyaya, Chief of Quality Standard and Regulation Division of Ministry of Health, has been entrusted the additional responsibility of Officiating Executive Director of Health Insurance Board. Earlier the government had suspended Dr. Damodar Basaula from the position of Executive Director of the Board for three months.
Prof. Dr. Shiva Bhusal has been appointed as the Acting Vice Chairman of Trivuwan University after the four year's tenure VC Prof. Dr. Dharma Kanta Baskota was over recently.
Joint Secretary Baburam Subedi has been elected as the Chairman of Rastriya Banijya Bank.
Joint secretaries Radhika Aryal and Bishwababu Pudasaini have been promoted to the post of secretary of Government of Nepal. As secretary-duo Arjunjung Thapa and Dr Damodar Regmi retired, the two joint secretaries were promoted to the vacant posts.
