Crimson College of Technology (CCT) has been established in 2000 AD by a group of dedicated academicians from different educational backgrounds like IT, management, professionals from health-sciences and engineers. The college is currently running, Bachelor in Pharmacy (B.PHARM), BBA, BCA and BCIS affiliated to Pokhara University (PU). CCT is distinguished as an “A GRADE COLLEGE IN EMPLOYMENT” in the region. The college is located in the heart of the city and is linked with east-west highway. Because of its appropriate geographical location equipped with modern facilities, Butwal has become a focal point for education, trade and transportation. The vision of the CCT is to help, develop and produce competent graduates that are ever demanding in corporate sectors globally. Taking this into consideration, the college has taken its motto “VT PROSIM” – ‘let me be useful’ – it endeavors to inculcate the students’ self-discipline, human and spiritual values that would make holistic development and change. Tilottama campus was established in 1996 as the first private college in Rupandehi by a team of dedicated, experienced and enterprising academicians to cater for the growing demands of parents and students in the higher education by providing quality education and guaranteeing top class graduates.
Since its establishment, the college has been running +2 programme in science and management in Affiliation with Higher Seconday Education Board, Nepal. It is also planning to launch Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in the near future.
Its Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB) results during the last 16 years have proved that Tilottama H.S. School has become a home for quality education. It has already been awarded time and again by HSEB for its excellence. In BBA as well, college feels proud on the high success rate of its students along with the university toppers for several years. College of Applied Business (CAB) founded in 1998 by a group of experienced educationists and professionals is a non-profit institution committed to excellence. The college believes that competent and excellent manpower is the pre requisite for overall development of the nation.
CAB has been applying appropriate module and the technique in the teaching curricula so as to make students competent in their fields. Moreover, the methods applied by CAB have been amply justified by the consistent high success rate achieved by its students in university final examinations.
At present it offers Plus Two programme in commerce and three undergraduate programmes of TU: The Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS), the Bachelor in Information Management (BIM), and the Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA). Besides these undergraduate programmes, it also offers graduate programme in management studies: Master of Business Studies (MBS).
College of Applied Business has been providing modern education with revised curriculum to the students. We are in continuous effort to move forward with the changes in society as well as education. We believe in practical education along with the theoretical. CAB focuses more on use of technology with learning. We conduct the classes on the coordination between management, students, teachers and guardian. We are thankful to New Business Age Pvt Ltd for honouring our college with the award. This award has made us responsible to improve further in the quality but for the sake of achieving award, the institutions should not go out of the criteria. We are always dedicated towards the necessity of the students. The parameters of the selection were scientific. But the team should have gone to the colleges before the selection of the colleges which would make it more realistic. If this point is taken to consideration in upcoming events it will be better. But the initiation is praiseworthy and we take it in a positive note. CAB always is dedicated to its principles and values to provide necessary education to the students. |
