The International Finance Corporation (IFC) has imparted a training on "Environmental and Social Risk Management" to around four hundred employees working in the loan department of Global IME Bank. The training was jointly organized by the Global IME Bank and the corporation.

The program specifically focused on IFC Performance Standards and real environmental and social risk management. The training was conducted by IFC's environmental and social experts. The bank believes that training on environment, and social practices, institutional governance, and other related topics will enhance capacity of the employees at the loan department, which will benefit the entire banking sector.
