Citizens Bank International Limited has installed a public tap for drinking water at Sauraha Chowk in Ratnanagar, Chitwan. The bank has handed over drinking water tap along with a filter to Ratnanagar Drinking Water and Consumers’ Association. Madhu Khanal, the branch manager of the Ratnanagar branch, handed over the drinking water tap to Madhav Prasad Aryal, the chairman of Ratnanagar Drinking Water Consumers’ Association.

The branch manager Khanal stated that the bank has provided the filter and drinking water tap to ensure clean drinking water to the local community, citizens coming to the market for shopping, and travelers as part of bank’s corporate social responsibility. Khanal also informed that the bank has arranged gifts for women who open new accounts every Monday during the month of Shrawan.
