Since its inception in 2001, New Business Age has been instrumental in doing innovative and creative works to create a conducive atmosphere to discuss the economy of Nepal. It didn't limit itself to the publishing of New business Age and Aathik Abhiyan but also involved in organising events that are related to everyone's walks of life. It also founded Minds Nepal which is an integrated event research and marketing & communication consulting initiative.
Milestone Parleys
Apart from giving awards, it also organised discussion programmes inviting government officials, policymakers, and experts from abroad and from within Nepal. In 2013 New Business Age organised NewBiz Conclave and its theme was Doubling The Economic Growth Of Nepal to 7%: The Roadmap Ahead
The Chief Guest of the programme was the Minister of Finance, Shankar Prasad Koirala. Major Speakers were the Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, Dr. Yubaraj Katiwada, Sukanti Ghosh, MD of APCO Worldwide South Asia, and Wim Lansweert, a development economist from Europe. They were joined by other Speakers that included the President of FNCCI Suraj Vaidya, President of CNI Binod Chaudary President of Nepal Business Initiatives, Padma Jyoti & CEOs of major Indian JV companies working in Nepal.
In 2014 NewBiz Conclave was organised under the theme: A Vision: Unlocking Nepal's Growth Prospects. At this event, the Chief Guest was Dr. Ram Sharan Mahat, Minister of Finance. This event has eminent speakers from both Nepal and abroad. The keynote speech was given by Prof. Bibek Debroy on Business Leadership to Ensure Higher Growth. He is a well-known economist and author. Other speakers were Johannes Zutt, The World Bank Country Director for Nepal who spoke on the Future of Development Assistance in Nepal,
Dr. Swarnim Wagle, Member of the National Planning Commission who spoke on Nepal's Economic Development Trajectory and Bkesh Pradhanang, Managing Director, Jade Consult who spoke on Business, Bottlenecks & Beyond
After the earthquake in 2015, New Business Age bounced back and resumed NewBiz Conclave in 2016. The topic this time was Investment for Change.
The programme started with interaction among Five Nepali Young Entrepreneurs on how the Nepali business community was taking the challenge from ongoing changes of unprecedented scale.

Former Nepali Ambassador to India on New Imperatives in Nepal India Economic Relations. The Keynote speech was given by Jayant Prasad, Member of EPG & former Indian Ambassador to Nepal on Nepal India Economic Cooperation: Opportunities Now. In 2017, New Business Age chose a pertinent issue for discussion.
The theme of the discussion was Nepal Startup Ecosystem. The Chief Guest was Uday Shumsher Rana, Minister of Finance and a Special Guest: Dr Swarnim Wagle, Vice Chairman, Planning Commission. Both of them were young and vibrant. The Keynote Speaker was Oscar Kneppers, founder of Rockstart, Netherlands. This session was moderated by Sujeev Shakya, Founder CEO, Beed. The focus of NewBiz Conclave 2018 was on banking and the theme was Banking Strategies & Disruptions. The Chief Guest was Dr. Yuba Raj Khatiwada, Minister of Finance and a Special Guest was Dr. Chiranjibi Nepal, Governor, Nepal Rastra Bank. The Keynote Speaker was Tamal Bandyopadhyay, Adviser, Strategy at Bandhan Bank Ltd., India. Panel Speakers of this session were Anal Raj Bhattarai, FCA, Banking Expert, Anukool Bhattacharya, CEO, Nepal SBI Bank, Sashin Joshi, Former CEO - Nabil Bank and Maha Prasad Adhikary - CEO - Nepal Investment Board. The Panel Moderator was Sanjib Subba, CEO of, National Banking Institute.
In 2019, NewBiz Business Conclave chose the tourism industry as its topic for discussion. The topic was Tourism to Prosperity: Sharing Best Practices Chief Guest was Dr. Yuba Raj Khatiwada, Minister of Finance. In the first session on the topic: of International Experience Sharing, Keynote Speakers were Jens Thraenhart, Executive Director/CEO, Mekong Tourism Coordinating Office, Sonam Jatso, Tourism Entrepreneur, Bhutan, Bounlap Douangphoumy, Deputy Director-General, Lao Tourism Marketing, and Shreejana Rana, President, Hotel Association Nepal.
In another session titled Tourism to Prosperity: Sharing Best Practices, the main speaker were Deepak Raj Joshi, CEO - of Nepal Tourism Board, and Suraj Vaidya, National Coordinator - Of visit Nepal Year 2020. Another event under NewBiz Bschool Conclave & Awards in 2019 was on education. The theme of the conclave was 5 WH of Management Education in Nepal. The Panel Speakers were Bimala Rai Paudyal, Member, National Assembly of Federal Parliament of Nepal, Hem Raj Dhakal, Co-Founder and Managing Director of the IME Group, Ashish Tiwari, Vice President, Ace Education Ventures. It was moderated by Siddhant Raj Pandey, Chairman & CEO, Business Oxyzen Pvt. Ltd and the chief guest was Khag Raj Baral, Education Secretary, Government of Nepal.
