Global Wind Day was marked for the first time in Nepal during a programme organised by Alternative Energy Promotion Center (AEPC) with financial support from ADB and technical support from Wind Power Nepal. 

 

Executive Director of AEPC Govinda Raj Pokhrel said, “The country has very high potential and need to tap alternative energy sources but lacks political will”.
