<p>Sumegh Tours and Travel P. Ltd, Osho World Travel Nepal P. Ltd, Serene Travels P. Ltd, Megabyte Travels & Tours P. Ltd, Gorkha Vision Travels & Tours P. Ltd were the winners of the 2014 passenger awards. </p>
<p>The winners of the 2014 cargo awards were, Legend Cargo P Ltd, Shangri-La Freight P Ltd, World Freight Intl P.Ltd, Kumari Air Freight Intl and Rising Star Cargo P. Ltd.</p>
<p>Similarly, the winner of the outstanding performance award in front-end business was Jaya Travels & Tours P. Ltd. and Yeti Travels P. Ltd won for the highest growth in front-end revenue.</p>
<p>At the awards, Country Manager Nepal Parthenia Lai thanked the agents for their continued support and highlighted Nepal as a market of great potential, with continued inbound tourist demand. </p>
<p>The Hong Kong-based airline operates A330 flights to Hong Kong thrice a week from May till August from Kathmandu. </p>
<p><strong>Hyatt Donates US$2,500 to Children’s Protection Home</strong><br />
As part of Hyatt Thrive Global Month of Community Service, Hyatt Regency Kathmandu has donated US$ 2,500 to the Children’s Protection Home in order to help it in its efforts to improve the welfare of children. </p>
<p>According to the hotel, the Hyatt Thrive Global Month of Community Service programme, which is now in its fifth year, encourages hotels around the world to give something back to the communities they call home. </p>
<p>An award of US$2,500 was given to the hotel to further support its charity work and the funds were used to buy 36 mattresses, 3 desktop computers and a printer for the Children’s Protection Home. </p>
<p>“We are honoured to support the Children’s Protection Home and its valuable contribution to our community,” said Sinead O’Reilly-Henell, General Manager, Hyatt Regency Kathmandu. </p>
<p>“It is most important for us to be active participants in our area, and this programme gives us the chance to give something back to the local community,” added O’Reilly-Henell.</p>
<p>Similarly, Suraj Khanal, Centre Chief of the Children’s Protection Home said, “Receiving this help is a great honour for us, and we are thankful that Hyatt Regency Kathmandu chose our organisation for its Global Month of Community Service.”</p>

China Southern Airlines (CSA) has said it will restart its Guangzhou-Kathmandu flight from October 12. The service had been stopped due to the April 25 earthquake. CSA is ranked as the third biggest capacity airlines in the world and the first in Asia.</p>

Dragonair has honoured its top performing passenger and cargo agents in its annual agency awards for excellent service to passengers and their contribution to the success of Dragonair during 2014. The awards were handed out during the company’s 30th anniversary celebrations held in Kathmandu.</p>
<p>General Manager of Cathay Pacific and Dragonair for South Asia, Middle East & Africa, Charlie Stewart-Cox and Siddhartha SJB Rana, Chairman of Tara Management and Amravati Travels Pvt. Ltd (GSA of Dragonair Nepal) presented the awards to the agents. </p>
<p>Sumegh Tours and Travel P. Ltd, Osho World Travel Nepal P. Ltd, Serene Travels P. Ltd, Megabyte Travels & Tours P. Ltd, Gorkha Vision Travels & Tours P. Ltd were the winners of the 2014 passenger awards. </p>
<p>The winners of the 2014 cargo awards were, Legend Cargo P Ltd, Shangri-La Freight P Ltd, World Freight Intl P.Ltd, Kumari Air Freight Intl and Rising Star Cargo P. Ltd.</p>
<p>Similarly, the winner of the outstanding performance award in front-end business was Jaya Travels & Tours P. Ltd. and Yeti Travels P. Ltd won for the highest growth in front-end revenue.</p>
<p>At the awards, Country Manager Nepal Parthenia Lai thanked the agents for their continued support and highlighted Nepal as a market of great potential, with continued inbound tourist demand. </p>
<p>The Hong Kong-based airline operates A330 flights to Hong Kong thrice a week from May till August from Kathmandu. </p>
<p><strong>Hyatt Donates US$2,500 to Children’s Protection Home</strong><br />
As part of Hyatt Thrive Global Month of Community Service, Hyatt Regency Kathmandu has donated US$ 2,500 to the Children’s Protection Home in order to help it in its efforts to improve the welfare of children. </p>
<p>According to the hotel, the Hyatt Thrive Global Month of Community Service programme, which is now in its fifth year, encourages hotels around the world to give something back to the communities they call home. </p>
<p>An award of US$2,500 was given to the hotel to further support its charity work and the funds were used to buy 36 mattresses, 3 desktop computers and a printer for the Children’s Protection Home. </p>
<p>“We are honoured to support the Children’s Protection Home and its valuable contribution to our community,” said Sinead O’Reilly-Henell, General Manager, Hyatt Regency Kathmandu. </p>
<p>“It is most important for us to be active participants in our area, and this programme gives us the chance to give something back to the local community,” added O’Reilly-Henell.</p>
<p>Similarly, Suraj Khanal, Centre Chief of the Children’s Protection Home said, “Receiving this help is a great honour for us, and we are thankful that Hyatt Regency Kathmandu chose our organisation for its Global Month of Community Service.”</p>

Dragonair Awards Top Agents
Dragonair has honoured its top performing passenger and cargo agents in its annual agency awards for excellent service to passengers and their contribution to the success of Dragonair during 2014. The awards were handed out during the company’s 30th anniversary celebrations held in Kathmandu.
