Karbonn Launches Four New Mobiles
Allied Trade Link International Pvt Ltd, the authorised dealer of Karbonn Mobiles in Nepal, has introduced four innovative bar phones in Nepal. The new phones are: Karbonn K15 Metal (Rs 2,032), K40 (Rs2,529), K695 (Rs 2,490) and Mach One (Rs 13,649).
Micromax Canvas Doodle 4 Launched
Micromax has launched the canvas Doodle 4 in the Nepali market priced at Rs 15,950. The new smartphone is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) smartphone, running Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box, featuring a 6-inch IPS display with a qHD (540x960 pixels) resolution.
The phone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MTK6582M) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage expandable via micro SD card (up to 32GB). It sports an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, while there is a secondary 2-megapixel fixed-focus front camera also on board. The smartphone packs a 3000mAh battery and measures 165.5x85.3x8.5mm. It also includes ambient light, gravity, and proximity sensors.
NCell’s Special Data Package
Ncell has introduced a new data package to give customers additional features and options. In order make the Internet more accessible to all, the price of the data pack has also been reduced, said Ncell.
Under the weekly plan, customers can get 50mb, 150mb and 250mb of Internet packs at 70 paisa, 48 paisa and 44 paisa per MB respectively (excluding tax). Under the monthly plan, the cost of 1000mb data package has been reduced to Rs 550 from Rs 699. Ncell users can dial 17123# to select their package of choice.
Laxmi’s Initiative for the Differently-Abled
Laxmi Inter Continental, the sole distributor of Hyundai Motors in Nepal, has launched a social initiative programme to promote the rights of the differently a bled. According to the company’s agreement with the National Federation of the Disabled, Nepal (NFDN), the company helped develop and build a model toilet facility at the Federation’s office. Similarly, Laxmi has said it will distribute 50 wheelchairs to the needy.
