December 9: Machhapuchhre Bank Limited has opened three new branches in Province 3. Issuing a press statement, the bank said it opened a branch each at Hetauda of Makwanpur district, Ichhakamana Rural Municipality and Kalika Municipality of Chitwan on Friday, December 7.
The Hetauda branch was jointly inaugurated by the bank’s promoter Jaya Mukunda Khanal and Mayor of Hetauda Hari Bahadur Mahat. Likewise, Another board member of the bank, Ram Man Shrestha, along with Ichhakamana Rural Municipality’s Vice Chair Kriti Kumar Shrestha inaugurated the Ichhakamana branch. The bank’s promoter Gopi Krishna Neupane and Kalika’s Mayor Khum Narayan Shrestha inaugurated the Kalika branch.
The bank said it has established branches from Mechi in the east to Mahalaki in the west and from the mountains to the terai to facilitate its customers. The bank has been providing services with a network of 86 branches, two extension counters, 38 branchless banking facilities and 106 ATMs across the nation.
