<p>According to the organizers, the event was organized targeting fresh graduates and 8<sup>th</sup> semester students of IT and Engineering field for internships and job placements.</p>
<p>Students of BE Civil, BE Computer, BE Electronics and Communication, and BSc CSIT from various colleges across the country got a chance for on-the-spot interview for internship and job in a single venue. The on-the-spot interview with the top IT and engineering companies of Nepal was the main highlight of the event, according to the organizers.</p>
<p>"The event was organized with an objective of helping students liaise with the industry and job market to make a smooth transition from college to corporate life. Overall, it was a win-win situation for both the companies and graduates. The feedbacks we received were excellent. We were requested to organize such event every year," a press statement issued by the organizers quoted Dakshina Shrestha, associate professor and head of Training and Placement Unit of the college as saying.</p>
<p>The event witnessed participation of around 700 students.</p>
