November 22: MAW Earthmovers, the authorised distributor of JCB construction and earthmoving equipment, has opened its new state-of-the-art dealership in Kathmandu. MD and CEO of JCB India Ltd, Vipin Sondhi, inaugurated the dealership amid a function on November 21.

On the occasion, Sondhi said, “Nepal has been a very important market for JCB, and we have remained committed through world-class products for our customers through our distributor MAW Earthmovers.”

Issuing a press statement, the company said the dealership has been opened with an aim to provide its customers sales, service and spare parts. The dealership reinforces JCB’s commitment to investing in Nepal, reads the statement.

The dealership houses a fully integrated ‘Liverlink’ command, an advanced Telemetics technology pioneered by JCB, which helps customers monitor their machines remotely. Currently, over 350 Liverlink-enabled JCB machines are working in the country, reads the press statement.
