September 28: Qatar Airways has been running a digital drawing competition for its young travellers this week. According to the airline company, its Oryx Kids Club mascots will be inspiring young travellers to get creative in planning their next journey with a visit to an exciting digital drawing booth at the Mall of Qatar from September 26-29.

Orry and Orah the oryx and their three furry friends – Kamil the camel, Faaiz the falcon and Farah the desert fox –  will be on hand from 2pm - 9pm on September 28 and 29 to help children demonstrate their creativity towards travelling by participating in a digital drawing competition, the company said in a statement.

The fun-filled event aims to encourage youngsters aged 7-12 years to develop a sense of familiarity when they travel to their favourite destination with Qatar Airways. The winners of the drawing competition will be awarded with a minimum of two economy class return tickets to any Qatar Airways destination on its global route network of more than 150 destinations.

“The airline’s booth at the Mall of Qatar will provide children with the opportunity to explore their creative side and discover the excitement of travel with Qatar Airways. Children can also take home a souvenir photo of themselves with their favourite Oryx Kids Club mascot, as well as with a certificate of participation,” the statement said.
