<p>“The Kathmandu Mini Maker Faire will convene entrepreneurs, makers, business people, as well as members of international and national non-governmental organizations and government agencies,” the statement read, adding that the event will celebrate the Maker Movement – a movement that brings together tech innovators, tinkerers, and artisans – and showcase an array of new technologies and innovative projects that promote STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) learning.</p>
<p>Events and exhibits will include exhibitors, speakers, panel discussions, workshops on small, low-cost computers such as Raspberry Pi and Arduino, a virtual reality booth, flying drones, 3D printing workshops, and traditional crafting.</p>
<p>According to the statement, KMMF will provide incubation grants of up to Rs 200,000 for each team of makers showing innovative approaches to health, education and environment challenges.</p>
