<p>“We have received 134 applications as of July 30 and call for more applications,” said Niraj Khanal, CEO of Antarprerana, in a press meet organised on Monday, July 30.</p>
<p>Speaking about the relationship between technology and entrepreneurship, Hare Ram Shrestha, president at Nepal Engineer’s Association (NEA) said, engineers have worked in isolation in the past but it is time to collaborate with the entrepreneurs and their concepts for better results.</p>
<p>Pushpa Raj Acharya, president of Society of Economic Journalists Nepal (SEJON) said, “There are many problems in the startup scene including the government’s policy on venture capital and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). Despite such problems, we should try to create an environment to support startups.”</p>
<p>Similarly, the president of Vaidya’s Organisation of Industries and Trading Houses (VOITH), Suraj Vaidya shared that the programme is going to be tremendously successful. “I believe Nepal has possibilities. So, work with the belief that you can do it,” he added.</p>
<p>Startups from sectors like advertising, architecture, craft and artisan, design, technology, fashion, film, video and photography, gastronomy, leisure activities, music, performing arts, radio and television, software, computer games and electronics, publishing (for creative industries), 3D printing makers, toys and games can participate in the CBC Nepal.</p>

<p>“We have received 134 applications as of July 30 and call for more applications,” said Niraj Khanal, CEO of Antarprerana, in a press meet organised on Monday, July 30.</p>
<p>Speaking about the relationship between technology and entrepreneurship, Hare Ram Shrestha, president at Nepal Engineer’s Association (NEA) said, engineers have worked in isolation in the past but it is time to collaborate with the entrepreneurs and their concepts for better results.</p>
<p>Pushpa Raj Acharya, president of Society of Economic Journalists Nepal (SEJON) said, “There are many problems in the startup scene including the government’s policy on venture capital and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). Despite such problems, we should try to create an environment to support startups.”</p>
<p>Similarly, the president of Vaidya’s Organisation of Industries and Trading Houses (VOITH), Suraj Vaidya shared that the programme is going to be tremendously successful. “I believe Nepal has possibilities. So, work with the belief that you can do it,” he added.</p>
<p>Startups from sectors like advertising, architecture, craft and artisan, design, technology, fashion, film, video and photography, gastronomy, leisure activities, music, performing arts, radio and television, software, computer games and electronics, publishing (for creative industries), 3D printing makers, toys and games can participate in the CBC Nepal.</p>
<p>Entrepreneurs and startups can apply to be in the Creative Business Cup Nepal using the link <a href="https://antarprerana.com.np/cbc">https://antarprerana.com.np/cbc</a>. The application deadline for CBC Nepal is August 5.</p>

<p>Speaking about the relationship between technology and entrepreneurship, Hare Ram Shrestha, president at Nepal Engineer’s Association (NEA) said, engineers have worked in isolation in the past but it is time to collaborate with the entrepreneurs and their concepts for better results.</p>
<p>Pushpa Raj Acharya, president of Society of Economic Journalists Nepal (SEJON) said, “There are many problems in the startup scene including the government’s policy on venture capital and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). Despite such problems, we should try to create an environment to support startups.”</p>
<p>Similarly, the president of Vaidya’s Organisation of Industries and Trading Houses (VOITH), Suraj Vaidya shared that the programme is going to be tremendously successful. “I believe Nepal has possibilities. So, work with the belief that you can do it,” he added.</p>
<p>Startups from sectors like advertising, architecture, craft and artisan, design, technology, fashion, film, video and photography, gastronomy, leisure activities, music, performing arts, radio and television, software, computer games and electronics, publishing (for creative industries), 3D printing makers, toys and games can participate in the CBC Nepal.</p>
<p>Entrepreneurs and startups can apply to be in the Creative Business Cup Nepal using the link <a href="https://antarprerana.com.np/cbc">https://antarprerana.com.np/cbc</a>. The application deadline for CBC Nepal is August 5.</p>
<p>The selected applicants will be announced on Aug 13 and will be sent to Nava Udhyamshala, a bootcamp for the startups. The national finale of CBC Nepal will be held in September while mentoring the winner for the global finale will take place between September and October. The company will attend CBC global finale in November, 2018. </p>
