<p>The workshop is part of a series of professional development programs at DAV, the college said in a statement.</p>
<p>Such workshop helps participants sharpen their communication skills and boost their level of confidence in presentation and public speaking ability, the statement further said.</p>
<p>According to the college, the grand finale of the training was held on July 18. Students were divided into groups of six and were assigned to re-enact different events ranging from beauty pageant to product launch as part of the finale.</p>
<p>The participants were judged on the basis of speaking, pronunciation, body-language, confidence and group evaluation based on team co-ordination.</p>
<p>The award categories included Best TVC, which was awarded to Niroj Dhimal, Roshni Udas, Nikesh Dangol and Prathana Sen Dangol. Likewise, the best improved award went to Melina Rai, best vlog to Rubin Awale and best news reader to Subarna Dhakal.</p>
<p>Also, Deepika Shrestha, Simon Tamang, Dipesh Shrestha, Lidhiya Rai, Martha Ghole and Sayara Singh were awarded for the best group.</p>
