June 3: Chinese handset brand OnePlus has introduced the OnePlus 6, the latest in its lineup of premium flagship smartphones, in the Nepali market.

The company claimed that the OnePlus 6 is the company's most competitive product till date, offering key hardware and software updates inspired by the active OnePlus community, including a higher resolution, 19:9 notch display, enhanced low-light camera performance, and numerous new software features.

Oneplus has introduced the Oneplus 6 in two models - 64 GB and 256 GB. According to the company, Ncell customers will get 1000 MB promotional data pack per week for 12 weeks.

The OnePlus 6 features the highest resolution dual-camera system on a smartphone for clearer photos than ever before, reads a statement issued by the company. Dash Charge, OnePlus’ industry-leading charging technology, gives users a day's power in half an hour, the company claimed. The Qualcomm, Snapdragon 845 platform, coupled with up to 6 GB and 8 GB of RAM, provides a smooth user experience at a lower power consumption rate.

Dhirendra Kushwaha, marketing manager of iHub Pvt Ltd, said, "Oneplus is one of the foremost cellphone brands across the globe. After the huge success of launching OnePlus in the world, we are excited to launch the popular, fastest speed mobile in its category in Nepal. OnePlus has created a grand sensation in the global market and we are expecting the same response from the Nepalese markets too.”

The OnePlus 6 is available in mirror black, mindnight black and silk white colours.

The phone is available at retail stores across the country. The cost of 64 GB is Rs 70,999 while 256 GB phone costs Rs 91,000.
