<p>"The ministry will play a role of mediator to take Nepali tea to the international market," said Minister Khanal during the inauguration ceremony.</p>
<p>"The government will leave no stone unturned for the development of agriculture sector as more than half of the population of Nepal is dependent on agriculture," said Minister Khanal. </p>
<p>The minister also made a commitment to bring new strategies to promote Nepali products in the international market. </p>

<p>As part of the three-day festival, the board organised a tea tasting event at Syamgboche in the Everest region on Saturday, April 7, in order to promote Nepali tea in the international market.</p>
<p>Nineteen tea promoters of 13 different countries took part in the tea tasting event, according to Gaurab Luitel, planning officer of the board.</p>
<p>Sharyn Johnston of Australia, who has visited Nepal many times, cherished the tea tasting experience in Everest as a memorable moment of her life. Nepali orthodox tea were also displayed during the event.</p>
<p>President of the board, Deepak Khanal, said that a logo of Nepali tea was launched from the Everest region.</p>
<p>Minister for Agriculture, Land management and Cooperatives Chakrapani Khanal inaugurated the event. </p>
<p>"The ministry will play a role of mediator to take Nepali tea to the international market," said Minister Khanal during the inauguration ceremony.</p>
<p>"The government will leave no stone unturned for the development of agriculture sector as more than half of the population of Nepal is dependent on agriculture," said Minister Khanal. </p>
<p>The minister also made a commitment to bring new strategies to promote Nepali products in the international market. </p>
<p>National and international experts presented their papers regarding the promotion of Nepali tea during the event.</p>
