<p>Nimbus produces raw materials for carpet, shoes, and other industries. Nimbus has been providing 500 tons of chemicals per month to the multi-national paste industries like Nerolac, Berger, Kansai, among others. The demand for chemical paints in the domestic market is 1,000–1,200 tons per month.</p>
<p>The government levies 5 percent customs tax on the chemicals imported from overseas, while it levies 15 to 20 percent tax for the raw materials used to make the chemicals. It has been learnt that the unclear revenue policy has left majority of industries in the Hetauda Industrial Estate sufferring. </p>
