The expo was jointly organized by Independent Power Producers’ Association, Nepal (IPPAN) and Expo and Event Management Services Private Limited for the first time in Nepal.</p>
<p>Shailendra Guragain, president of IPPAN, said that the expo saw participation of over 40,000 visitors including concerned stakeholders and interested groups.</p>
<p>“The expo has successfully brought together stakeholders of hydro power sector,” said Guragain, adding, “It has created a situation where products, skills and expertise can be helpful to each other.”</p>
<p>There was equal number of participants representing national and international companies, according to the organisers.</p>
<p>Hydropower project directors, producers, suppliers, designers, consultants, insurance companies, investors and bank and financial institutions visited the stalls during the expo. </p>
