<p>Importing petroleum products from northern neighbor is a big issue. So, the ministry is looking if NTL can handle such responsibility or not, said a source at the Ministry of Finance. Likewise, MoF also said that the issue was out of discussion because of the elections in the country.</p>
<p>The government should also work on maintaining the infrastructure of the country if it is to import petroleum products to be imported from China.</p>

MoS official Urmila KC said, “Despite such attempts, the finance ministry is reluctant to initiate the discussion.”</p>
<p>MoF stated that the attempt to discuss the subject with concerned officials at MoS has been unsuccessful. NTL’s failure to establish itself as a successful corporation and lack of employees in the current situation have stood as the obstacle to hand over such huge responsibility to NTL. </p>
<p>Importing petroleum products from northern neighbor is a big issue. So, the ministry is looking if NTL can handle such responsibility or not, said a source at the Ministry of Finance. Likewise, MoF also said that the issue was out of discussion because of the elections in the country.</p>
<p>The government should also work on maintaining the infrastructure of the country if it is to import petroleum products to be imported from China.</p>

<p>MoF stated that the attempt to discuss the subject with concerned officials at MoS has been unsuccessful. NTL’s failure to establish itself as a successful corporation and lack of employees in the current situation have stood as the obstacle to hand over such huge responsibility to NTL. </p>
<p>Importing petroleum products from northern neighbor is a big issue. So, the ministry is looking if NTL can handle such responsibility or not, said a source at the Ministry of Finance. Likewise, MoF also said that the issue was out of discussion because of the elections in the country.</p>
<p>The government should also work on maintaining the infrastructure of the country if it is to import petroleum products to be imported from China.</p>
<p>After facing huge loss, the staffers of National Trading were given voluntary retirement.</p>

The process has been stranded despite the Ministry of Supplies (MoS) allowing National Trading Limited (NTL) to enter into petroleum trading with China. The Ministry of Finance (MoF) has not agreed to the decision, according to the Ministry of Supplies.</span></p>
<p>The Ministry of Supplies said that the finance ministry has not taken the issue seriously. “Though the MoS had mailed MoF in October, 2016, there has not been any discussion so far,” stated MoS.</p>
<p>According to MoS, the file on the subject to allow NTL to enter into petroleum trading was forwarded to the council of ministers. But the council of ministers had demanded approval from MoF.
