According to the report, transportation and drinking water had to bear a loss of Rs 2.93 billion and Rs 880 million, respectively. Floods during this monsoon had caused destruction in 35 districts of the country.</p>
<p>Of the total affected districts, 18 Terai districts were badly affected and the remaining ones had sustained less damages. NPC has also suggested the government to provide relief and rehabilitation worth Rs 73.22 billion in the affected districts. According to the report, the flood will have negative impact in the economy of the country.</p>

According to the report, transportation and drinking water had to bear a loss of Rs 2.93 billion and Rs 880 million, respectively. Floods during this monsoon had caused destruction in 35 districts of the country.</p>
<p>Of the total affected districts, 18 Terai districts were badly affected and the remaining ones had sustained less damages. NPC has also suggested the government to provide relief and rehabilitation worth Rs 73.22 billion in the affected districts. <p>As per the study, the floods had caused destruction worth Rs 19.51 billion in the residential areas, Rs 620 million in health sector, Rs 1.19 billion in education sector. Likewise, the floods destroyed agriculture products worth Rs 7.21 billion while there was a loss of Rs 10.67 in livestock and Rs 17.46 in irrigation. According to the report, transportation and drinking water had to bear a loss of Rs 2.93 billion and Rs 880 million, respectively. Floods during this monsoon had caused destruction in 35 districts of the country.</p>
<p>Of the total affected districts, 18 Terai districts were badly affected and the remaining ones had sustained less damages. NPC has also suggested the government to provide relief and rehabilitation worth Rs 73.22 billion in the affected districts. According to the report, the flood will have negative impact in the economy of the country.</p>
<p>The flood this year had claimed lives of almost 134 people. </p>
