<p>The construction of resort started in mid-March and has 20 rooms. Lama said that though the construction of the building has been completed, painting of the building, management of apple orchard, garden and parking site are yet to be completed.</p>
<p>Lama started the business by taking 80 ropanis of land from the locals in lease for 30 years. He said that the construction will take place in two phases. Eighty percent of the work has been completed in the first phase while the remaining 20 percent will be done after the resort comes into operation.</p>
<p>“I have introduced a new concept to provide tourists who travel here for religious purpose with good facilities,” Lama told New Business Age, adding, “The resort will be well facilitated with the availability of rock climbing for tourists.”</p>
<p>Lama added that locals will be given priority in terms of employment in the resort. The number of internal as well as Indian tourists travelling to Muktinath has grown significantly after the operation of Beni- Jomsom- Kagbeni road. Influx of tourist from third countries is also high. </p>
