<p>The festival is being organised in association with Annapurna Rural Municipality, Chomrong Tourism Management Sub-Committee and different local organizations. A team had reached Annapurna Base Camp to participate in the festival upon three days’ trekking. The team will return to Pokhara on October 14.</p>

<p>The festival is being organised in association with Annapurna Rural Municipality, Chomrong Tourism Management Sub-Committee and different local organizations. A team had reached Annapurna Base Camp to participate in the festival upon three days’ trekking. The team will return to Pokhara on October 14.</p>

<p>The festival was inaugurated by Rabindra Adhikari, chairman of the Parliamentary Development Committee. Adhikari said that tourists are attracted to the Himalayas and the festival organised in the area will contribute to the development of Nepal’s tourism.</p>
<p>In the first phase of the festival, a statue of Maurice Herzog, a French mountaineer who climbed Annapurna for the first time, was laid at the Annapurna Base Camp.</p>
<p>The festival is being organised in association with Annapurna Rural Municipality, Chomrong Tourism Management Sub-Committee and different local organizations. A team had reached Annapurna Base Camp to participate in the festival upon three days’ trekking. The team will return to Pokhara on October 14.</p>
