<p>The contractors and other entrepreneurs who gathered at Civil Hospital after the incident termed the attack gruesome and inhumane and demanded stern action against the perpetrators. The agitated entrepreneurs also demanded resignation of home minister and warned that they would halt development works until the assailants are booked.</p>
<p>The protests caused obstruction of vehicular movement along the Baneshwar-Tinkune road section for some time in the afternoon.</p>
<p>Gauchan was shot dead by unidentified assailants at Baneshwar’s Kharibot on Monday, October 9.</p>
