Asha Rai from Lalitpur and Nirmala Dharel from Salyantar are the lucky winners of the special promotion campaign held during the Dashian season, the company said in a statement. Under this campaign, which was launched on September 1, customers across Nepal have a change for their transaction amount being doubled by MoneyGram.</p>
<p>“We see a significant increase in the transaction volume around Dashian as family members make an extra effort to send money back home. To recognize those efforts, we had decided to launch a promotion campaign rewarding those customers with additional money they can spend on making this time more memorable,” said Sheshagiri Malliah, MoneyGram’s head of India and the subcontinent.</p>
<p>Until October 31, every customer receiving an international money transfer in Nepal will be eligible to take part in the lucky draw. MoneyGram will double the transaction amount for 16 winners. </p>
