The special promotion campaign of MoneyGram launched on September 1 offers a chance to its receiving customers across Nepal to have their transaction amount doubled, the company said in a statement.
The company said that Tika Ram Karki from Kathmandu and Anil Adhikari from Morang are the lucky winners for the first week of the campaign.
“We see a significant increase in the transaction volume around Dashian as family members make an extra effort to send money back home. To recognize those efforts, we had decided to launch a promotion rewarding those customers with additional money they can spend on making this time more memorable,” said Sheshagiri Malliah (Sukesh), MoneyGram’s head of India and the subcontinent.
Until October 31, every customer receiving an international money transfer in Nepal will be eligible to take part in the lucky draw. MoneyGram said it will double the transaction amount for 16 winners.
