<p>“Our aim is to strengthen and stabilize our base in Nepal as well as to give continuity to competitiveness, profitability and responsibility,” he said.</p>
<p>Polman also inaugurated the Fair and Lovely Foundation built in collaboration with Maiti Nepal with the objective of giving shelter and two-year scholarships to 10 individuals of backward families for 10+2 course. Representatives of Maiti Nepal will also provide technical training to the scholars at the foundation to make them capable of getting employment at Unilever, Polman said.</p>
<p>Unilever has established itself as the biggest producer of local products in the country. With its one production unit and four packaging units, Unilever has been providing direct employment to 243 people and indirect employment to more than 20,000 people. </p>

<p>“Our aim is to strengthen and stabilize our base in Nepal as well as to give continuity to competitiveness, profitability and responsibility,” he said.</p>
<p>Polman also inaugurated the Fair and Lovely Foundation built in collaboration with Maiti Nepal with the objective of giving shelter and two-year scholarships to 10 individuals of backward families for 10+2 course. Representatives of Maiti Nepal will also provide technical training to the scholars at the foundation to make them capable of getting employment at Unilever, Polman said.</p>
<p>Unilever has established itself as the biggest producer of local products in the country. With its one production unit and four packaging units, Unilever has been providing direct employment to 243 people and indirect employment to more than 20,000 people. </p>

'content' => '<p>September 5: Unilever’s Chief Executive Officer Paul Polman has arrived in Nepal on Monday, September 4 to attend the 25<sup>th</sup> Anniversary of Unilever Nepal. He is accompanied by Unilever South Asia’s Acting Vice President Sanjiv Mehta and Unilever Nepal’s Chairman Pradeep Banerjee.</p>
<p>The CEO’s visit reflects the company’s commitment towards local business and the people of Nepal, reads a press statement issued by Unilever Nepal.</p>
<p>Polman said that the company will give continuity to its policy of increasing capital by increasing local production.</p>
<p>“Our aim is to strengthen and stabilize our base in Nepal as well as to give continuity to competitiveness, profitability and responsibility,” he said.</p>
<p>Polman also inaugurated the Fair and Lovely Foundation built in collaboration with Maiti Nepal with the objective of giving shelter and two-year scholarships to 10 individuals of backward families for 10+2 course. Representatives of Maiti Nepal will also provide technical training to the scholars at the foundation to make them capable of getting employment at Unilever, Polman said.</p>
<p>Unilever has established itself as the biggest producer of local products in the country. With its one production unit and four packaging units, Unilever has been providing direct employment to 243 people and indirect employment to more than 20,000 people. </p>
