July 26: The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FNCCI) has urged the government to deploy its foreign emissaries giving due emphasis to export-oriented policy. A delegation led by FNCCI President Bhavani Rana met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Krishna Bahadur Mahara at his office on Tuesday and gave such suggestion.
The delegation also requested the government to actively involve Nepal’s embassies in neighbouring countries like India and China to tap in investment for infrastructure and energy development from the giant economies as well as to promote tourism in those countries.
President Rana also urged the government to identify the obstacles in foreign investment and take necessary diplomatic steps to ensure foreign investment in Nepal. FNCCI also asked the government to include the private sector during high-level foreign trips of government officials.
During the occasion, DPM Mahara said that the government will make its economic diplomacy effective by forming bilateral advisory mechanisms in the countries with which Nepal has diplomatic ties.

'content' => '<p>July 26: The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FNCCI) has urged the government to deploy its foreign emissaries giving due emphasis to export-oriented policy. A delegation led by FNCCI President Bhavani Rana met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Krishna Bahadur Mahara at his office on Tuesday and gave such suggestion.</p>
<p>The delegation also requested the government to actively involve Nepal’s embassies in neighbouring countries like India and China to tap in investment for infrastructure and energy development from the giant economies as well as to promote tourism in those countries.</p>
<p>President Rana also urged the government to identify the obstacles in foreign investment and take necessary diplomatic steps to ensure foreign investment in Nepal. FNCCI also asked the government to include the private sector during high-level foreign trips of government officials.</p>
<p>During the occasion, DPM Mahara said that the government will make its economic diplomacy effective by forming bilateral advisory mechanisms in the countries with which Nepal has diplomatic ties.</p>
