<p>Amarasekera brings with him 25 years of extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, including nine years of experience as CEO and 16 years of senior management experience in globally renowned telecoms such as Singapore Telecommunications Ltd (Singapore), Sri Lanka Telecom’s Mobitel (Sri Lanka), Maxis Berhad (Malaysia) and Aircel Limited (India), reads the statement.</p>
<p>The statement further said that the Board of Directors of Ncell expressed delight at Amarasekera’s appointment with a belief that his extensive telco experience with globally reputed telecom companies in India, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Singaporewould help Ncell achieve new milestones under his leadership, including digital inclusion for the overall advancement of the country. </p>
<p>The Board of Directors also thanked Simon Perkins, saying that his leadership has been a key contributor in transition. He has made an outstanding contribution to Ncell, reads the press statement. </p>

<p>The statement further said that the Board of Directors of Ncell expressed delight at Amarasekera’s appointment with a belief that his extensive telco experience with globally reputed telecom companies in India, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Singaporewould help Ncell achieve new milestones under his leadership, including digital inclusion for the overall advancement of the country. </p>
<p>The Board of Directors also thanked Simon Perkins, saying that his leadership has been a key contributor in transition. He has made an outstanding contribution to Ncell, reads the press statement. </p>

<p>Amarasekera brings with him 25 years of extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, including nine years of experience as CEO and 16 years of senior management experience in globally renowned telecoms such as Singapore Telecommunications Ltd (Singapore), Sri Lanka Telecom’s Mobitel (Sri Lanka), Maxis Berhad (Malaysia) and Aircel Limited (India), reads the statement.</p>
<p>The statement further said that the Board of Directors of Ncell expressed delight at Amarasekera’s appointment with a belief that his extensive telco experience with globally reputed telecom companies in India, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Singaporewould help Ncell achieve new milestones under his leadership, including digital inclusion for the overall advancement of the country. </p>
<p>The Board of Directors also thanked Simon Perkins, saying that his leadership has been a key contributor in transition. He has made an outstanding contribution to Ncell, reads the press statement. </p>
