<p>Issuing a press statement, MetLife Nepal said Shrestha has been appointed to the posts effective from July 1.</p>
<p>MetLife’s regional chief Md Nurul Islam, who oversees the works in Nepal, Bangladesh and Myanmar, said, “Nirmal’s appointment as general manager highlights our commitment to promote local talent. I am delighted he has taken this key role. Given his deep understanding of our business, extensive industry experience and strong leadership, we are confident that Nirmal is well positioned to capture the growth opportunities we see in Nepal.”</p>
