June 29: Himalayan Bank Limited has installed eight CCTV cameras on the premises of Maitidevi Temple in Kathmandu today.
The bank as part of its CSR initiative handed over eight sets of high quality cameras and recording equipments to the temple administration amid a function held on Thursday for the security of religious heritage, reads a press statement issued by the bank.
The cameras can secure high resolution videos of all the activities round the clock around the temple premises for 18 days.
While handing over the cameras to Maitidevi Area Management Committee’s member secretary Darshan Mahato, Himalayan Bank’s Chairman Manoj Bahadur Shrestha expressed his belief that the installation of cameras would help in curbing unwanted activities around the temple area.

'content' => '<p>June 29: Himalayan Bank Limited has installed eight CCTV cameras on the premises of Maitidevi Temple in Kathmandu today.</p>
<p>The bank as part of its CSR initiative handed over eight sets of high quality cameras and recording equipments to the temple administration amid a function held on Thursday for the security of religious heritage, reads a press statement issued by the bank.</p>
<p>The cameras can secure high resolution videos of all the activities round the clock around the temple premises for 18 days.</p>
<p>While handing over the cameras to Maitidevi Area Management Committee’s member secretary Darshan Mahato, Himalayan Bank’s Chairman Manoj Bahadur Shrestha expressed his belief that the installation of cameras would help in curbing unwanted activities around the temple area.</p>
<p>Director General of the Department of Archaeology, Bhes Narayan Dahal, was present during the function.</p>
