<p style="text-align: justify;">According to Sukadev Bhattarai Khatri, the acting auditor general, the arrears of government agencies along with constitutional bodies and committees have increased by 72 percent. He said that total arrears have amounted to Rs 97.44 during the year 2072/73 which was Rs 56.65 billion in previous year. Among it, the government agencies have the arrears of Rs 88.85 billion and of constitutional bodies and committee of Rs 8.58 billion respectively.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">As per the report of OAG, Minister of Finance (MoF) tops the list in terms of arrears in the FY 2072/73. Bhattarai informed that the MoF has the arrears of 44 percent of the total unsettled account. Similarly, Physical Infrastructure and Transportation Ministry comes second in the financial indiscipline with Rs 12.77 arrears. Likewise, Ministry of Federal Affairs and Development, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Water Supply and Sanitation have arrears of Rs 8.03 billion, Rs 7.76 billion and Rs 3.82 billion respectively.</p>

According to the report, published by OAG on Wednesday, the unsettled accounts in the FY 2072/73 have reached Rs 396.26 billion. The amount is more than 68 billion compared to the previous FY. The previous FY had arrears of Rs 328.52 billion.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">According to Sukadev Bhattarai Khatri, the acting auditor general, the arrears of government agencies along with constitutional bodies and committees have increased by 72 percent. He said that total arrears have amounted to Rs 97.44 during the year 2072/73 which was Rs 56.65 billion in previous year. Among it, the government agencies have the arrears of Rs 88.85 billion and of constitutional bodies and committee of Rs 8.58 billion respectively.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">As per the report of OAG, Minister of Finance (MoF) tops the list in terms of arrears in the FY 2072/73. Bhattarai informed that the MoF has the arrears of 44 percent of the total unsettled account. Similarly, Physical Infrastructure and Transportation Ministry comes second in the financial indiscipline with Rs 12.77 arrears. Likewise, Ministry of Federal Affairs and Development, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Water Supply and Sanitation have arrears of Rs 8.03 billion, Rs 7.76 billion and Rs 3.82 billion respectively.</p>
