Based on the data, the internet users in the country are increasing at the rate of 17.12 per cent per annum.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify">With the growth, internet accessibility has reached to 54.34 per cent of the total population. During the period, mobile service provider company, Ncell expanded internet services to maximum users of 1,081,428 followed by government owned Nepal Telecom (NT) to 948,544 users. Similarly, various ISPs added internet users by 57,594. Likewise, Smart Telecom and UTL increased their internet users by 17,370 and 133 respectively.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify">Among the total internet users of the country, 95.88 per cent totaling 13,805,917 customers use mobile internet. Apart from this, 199,764 users use CDMA EVDO and 180,063 use ADSL technology. Similarly, 123,465 use cable modem, 66,338 use wireless modem, 16,107 uses WiMAX, 6,534 use dial up and 13 use VSAT internet. </p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Among the total internet users of the country, 95.88 per cent totaling 13,805,917 customers use mobile internet. Apart from this, 199,764 users use CDMA EVDO and 180,063 use ADSL technology. Similarly, 123,465 use cable modem, 66,338 use wireless modem, 16,107 uses WiMAX, 6,534 use dial up and 13 use VSAT internet. </p>

The exponential growth in the internet users is attributed to easy internet accessibility along with expansion of various telecommunication companies and internet service providers (ISP) in the country. According to the statistics of Nepal Telecommunication Authority, internet users were 12.2 million till the end of 2015. However, by the December 2016, the number jumped to 14.3 million. Based on the data, the internet users in the country are increasing at the rate of 17.12 per cent per annum.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify">With the growth, internet accessibility has reached to 54.34 per cent of the total population. During the period, mobile service provider company, Ncell expanded internet services to maximum users of 1,081,428 followed by government owned Nepal Telecom (NT) to 948,544 users. Similarly, various ISPs added internet users by 57,594. Likewise, Smart Telecom and UTL increased their internet users by 17,370 and 133 respectively.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify">Among the total internet users of the country, 95.88 per cent totaling 13,805,917 customers use mobile internet. Apart from this, 199,764 users use CDMA EVDO and 180,063 use ADSL technology. Similarly, 123,465 use cable modem, 66,338 use wireless modem, 16,107 uses WiMAX, 6,534 use dial up and 13 use VSAT internet. </p>
