Issuing a press statement, the bank informed of providing 12 per cent interest under the scheme. According to the bank, customers can obtain loan up to 80 per cent on the fixed deposit scheme.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The bank is planning to launch similar scheme for institutional customers once the newly launched scheme collects encouraging deposits. The bank clarified that government and government owned institutions, saving and credit co-operative organisations, trust operated by such organisations and public limited companies have been barred from participation in the scheme. </p>
