The price of gold increased in the Nepali market on Sunday, while the price of silver saw a decline
Gold surged by Rs 700 per tola (11.66 grams) on the first trading day of the week, following a rise of Rs 1,500 per tola on Friday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of fine gold is now Rs 148,800 per tola, up from Rs 148,100 per tola on Friday.
In contrast, the price of silver decreased to Rs 1,720 per tola on Sunday, from Rs 1,730 per tola on Friday.
Last Monday, the price of gold had reached an all-time high in the domestic market when fine gold was traded at Rs 150,000 per tola.
