Price of Gold Drops for Second Consecutive Day

KATHMANDU, August 7: The price of gold, which had hit an all-time high in the domestic market on Monday, has decreased for the second consecutive day.
According to the Federation of Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of fine gold dropped by Rs 1,400 per tola on Wednesday. Gold is being traded at Rs 146,300 per tola, down from Rs 147,700 per tola on Tuesday.
The price of silver also saw a decline, with silver being traded at Rs 1,710 per tola on Wednesday, a decrease of Rs 15 per tola from Tuesday's price of Rs 1,725 per tola.
