KATHMANDU, August 6: Veteran industrialist Shrawan Kumar Agrawal, who was also a Constituent Assembly member, passed away at his residence in Sanepa, Lalitpur, on Monday night. He was 77.
Agrawal, who was also the former chairman of Marwadi Sewa Samiti, was active in various industries and businesses for the last 58 years.
Agrawal is survived by his wife, two sons, and a daughter.
His son, Rajesh Kumar Agrawal, is the president of the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI).
CNI, through a statement, extended condolences on Agrawal's passing.
His last rites would be performed at Pashupati Aryaghat on Tuesday. -- RSS
