Gold and Silver Prices Fall After Record High in Nepal

KATHMANDU, August 4: The price of gold, which surged to an all-time high in Nepal on Friday, experienced a decline of Rs 200 per tola (11.66 grams) on Sunday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, fine gold, previously priced at Rs 149,900 per tola, is now being traded at Rs 149,700 per tola.
In addition, the price of worked gold has decreased from Rs 146,700 per tola on Friday to Rs 137,725 per tola.
The price of silver have also fallen, with silver now being traded at Rs 1,785 per tola, a reduction of Rs 10 from the Rs 1,795 per tola price on Friday.
