Prices of Gold and Silver Surge in Domestic Market

KATHMANDU, July 29

The price of gold increased by Rs 400 per tola (11.66 grams) in the domestic market on Monday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, fine gold, which was traded at Rs 145,700 per tola on Sunday, is being traded at Rs 146,100 per tola on Monday.

Similarly, the price of worked gold has surged to Rs 145,400 per tola from Rs 145,000 on Sunday.

The price of silver has also risen in the domestic market of Nepal by Rs 10 per tola. Silver is currently being traded at Rs 1,750 per tola, up from Rs 1,740 per tola the previous day. -- RSS
