<p><span style="font-size:20px">The appointments were made during a meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Thursday. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:20px">Prof. Dr. Shivaraj Adhikari from the Palpa district has been appointed as the NPC Vice-Chairperson. Minister for Communications and Information Technology and Government Spokesperson Prithvi Subba Gurung informed government decision. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:20px">Prof. Adhikari is an economics professor at Tribhuvan University.In addition to Prof. Adhikari, the Cabinet appointed several other members to the NPC. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:20px">The new appointees are RP Bichha, Dr. Ramesh Prasad Singh, Dr. Prakash Kumar Shrestha, Gita Kumari Poudel Adhikari, Dr. Jaya Bahadur Tandon, and Ganga Dutta Awasthi.</span></p>
