PM Dahal Seeking Vote of Confidence for the Fifth Time   

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is seeking a vote of confidence for his government in the lower house of the Federal Parliament today.

The House of Representatives meeting is scheduled for 11:00 am today.    
Prime Minister Dahal, who is also the Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Centre), is seeking a vote of confidence for the fifth time in the House of Representatives in 18 months.    
Lately, he is taking a vote of confidence in accordance with Article 100 (2) of the Constitution of Nepal after the CPN (UML) pulled out of the government.    
The largest party in the HoR, the Nepali Congress, and the second largest party the CPN (UML) on July 1 forged an alliance and decided to form a new government. -- RSS
