June 15: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has reduced prices of petroleum products. According to the NOC, the price of petrol has been cut by Rs 3 per litre, while the prices of diesel and kerosene have been lowered by Rs 1 per litre.
A meeting of the NOC Board of Directors decided to implement these price reductions, which took effect from last night. With the price cut, petrol will now cost Rs 162.5 per litre in Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhgunj, Bhalbari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Birgunj.
In Surkhet and Dang, the price of petrol is set at Rs 164 per litre. In Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal, petrol will be sold at Rs 165 per litre. Similarly, diesel and kerosene will cost Rs 149.5 per litre in Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhgunj, Bhalbari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Birgunj.
In Surkhet and Dang, these fuels will be priced at Rs 151 per litre. In Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal, diesel and kerosene will be available at Rs 152 per litre, according to the NOC.
