International Tourism Fair in Kathmandu from Friday

KATHMANDU: An international tourism fair is taking place in Kathmandu from Friday to promote tourism of the country at the international level. The fair is to take place with the participation of tourism entrepreneurs from 16 countries.    
More than 150 stalls of businessmen from 16 countries will be displayed in the fair to be organized by Summit Event and Market, says Bishnu Pandey, proprietor of the organization.    
"We believe that the fair will help in sustainable tourism development and cultural exchange in the country," he said.    
Nepal, India, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, the Maldives, the USA, the Netherlands, Sri Lanka, China, Thailand, Dubai, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Malaysia and Bhutan will participate in the fair. Similarly, stalls of all seven provinces will also be displayed in the fair. Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) have extended support to the fair to be held at Bhrikutimandap.  -- RSS
